solicit sponsorship requests from ACSA members, and
to sponsor bills that improve conditions in
California schools. To study proposed legislation
and, based upon ACSA's Legislative Platform and
additional input from the board of directors,
establish ACSA's position on state and federal
legislation. To assist in the establishment of the
ACSA Legislative Platform.

develop and implement state, regional, and charter
membership recruitment, retention, and recognition
activities and strategies. To monitor existing
membership categories and dues structure,
identifying trends and issues requiring related
changes or adjustments. Recommend membership
eligibility and equitable dues structure
modifications to the Board of Directors as
necessary. To monitor and evaluate existing special
service (SASS) benefits and to investigate and
recommend new offerings to the Board of Directors.
To study and evaluate ACSA vendor/program
endorsements for recommendation to the Board of
Directors.
